About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special needs or learning disabilities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote a productive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments

Requirements
Skills:
Strong knowledge of elementary education principles and practices.
Ability to develop engaging and age-appropriate curriculum materials.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
Proficient in lesson planning and instructional delivery methods
Experience in behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom environment.
Knowledge of special education strategies and accommodations for diverse learners.
Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices.
Ability to write clear and concise reports, assessments, and correspondence.

Salary: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
